Frequently Asked Questions

1. Technician/AV

Our on-site technician is on hand for set ups and all emergencies. If you require assistance throughout your event then an external technician can be hired in for you.

2. Accommodation

There is no accommodation on site but special deals are available with the Citadines Apart'hotel and Club Quarters. Both hotels must be booked direct with the hotel. Payments are to be made directly to the hotel.

3. Parking

There are limited parking bays on Northumberland Avenue that are metered and can be paid via credit card and the use of a mobile phone. The maximum parking allowance is 2 hrs. Prices are 20p for 3 minutes

4. Drop off zone - regulations

Loading is possible at the front and at the rear of the building on a single yellow line, 20 mins. This is at your own risk. The Club cannot take responsibility for any tickets.

5. Deliveries

Deliveries should be through the back door unless pre-arranged with a member of the events team. Please come to the main entrance first, register and ask for the relevant entrance to be opened.
We cannot accept any deliveries (e.g. banners, branding material, boxes, folders, etc.) prior to the event date, unless agreed with a member of the events team.
All items should be labelled with the name of the event, date, organizer's name, function room details. This is also required after the event for collection. Collection must be arranged for no later than one day after the function. The Club does not take responsibility for any loss or damaged items.

6. Catering

Outside catering is not permitted on the Club's premises. All event attendees and organizers need to be made aware of this rule.

7. Opening hours

Monday-Friday: 7.00am – midnight
Weekends: Open for private hire only

8. Early access

If early access is required before 7am then this should be arranged with a member of the events team and may incur a charge. When booking a room, please remember to leave enough time for set-up, rehearsals, storage, etc.

9. Transfers/location

Tube: Embankment or Charring Cross, 2mins walk
From Stansted: 1 hr (Stansted express train to Liverpool St. Station and change to Central line and then Northern line)
From Heathrow: 45mins (Piccadilly line change to Bakerloo or northern line

10. Air conditioning

The entire club is air-conditioned

11. Children policy

Under the age of 16 are not permitted unless pre-arranged with the Club Manager. Special exceptions might be made for private events.

12. Smoking policy

The Club operates a no smoking policy as of September 1st 2006

13. Entertainment / production companies / flowers

The Club has a preferred supplier list. The events team will be happy to advise you further. A client may use a company of their own choice.

14. Decoration

The Club is able to arrange decoration from its in house supply, but are happy to work with external agents if more is required.

15. Disability Discrimination Act

The Club is compliant with the Disability Discrimination Act 2004

16. Wedding ceremonies

The Club is licenced by Westminster council to host civil wedding ceremonies and can also organise a wide variety of faith, secular or cultural celebrations.

17. Security policy

Security can be arranged on client's requests.

18. Service charge

An optional charge of 12.5% will be added to the price of food and beverages.

19. VAT

All prices are marked inc or exc as required.

21. On the day of the event

The operations manager and team will be running the event. The events team will brief the operating team prior to the event.
