Dda- Disability Discrimination Act

The main entrance to the club, at number 25 Northumberland Avenue, has 3 steps, but there is street level access to the club at Number 23 Northumberland Avenue. Please ring the door bell for assistance on arrival.

Number 18 Northumberland Avenue has a temporary ramp which can be placed over the 2 steps at the entrance to the club. As someone arrives, who requires assistance, the receptionist will organise for the ramp to be placed over the steps.

The 3 levels of the Club can be accessed by the stairs and by the lift. There is a disabled toilet facility on the lower ground floor level adjacent to the unisex toilet facilities.

The staff at The Club has been trained on the introduction of the Disability Discrimination Act. We provide a high level of service to all our guests and will try to accommodate any reasonable request.

In the event of an emergency evacuation, the lifts will be out of action, we would ask anyone unable to use the stairs to make their way to a safe area near a fire exit, where they should wait for a fire officer. The manager on duty will inform the fire officer of their location.

The above procedures meet with current legislation.
