The Commonwealth Club's CSR DDR is aimed at businesses who are trying to adhere to their own organisations CSR agenda whilst carrying out business as usual.
The key focus of the CSR package is to use locally sourced composites of the traditional day delegate rate; rather than using orange juice shipped from overseas, English apple juice is used, the bottled water makes a short trek from Wales and the ingredients for lunch are sourced from the British countryside. Sourcing locally equates to low food miles - a more environmentally friendly package.
Coupled with the above, The Commonwealth Club is wholly owned by the international educational charity the Royal Commonwealth Society, to which all proceeds from events are donated. The RCS works to inspire and engage young people in international issues, encouraging them to develop their skills and realise their ambitions.
